Sunday 14 April 2013

On the 1st of July this year it will be twenty years since the asylum law reform in Germany was enacted. For this anniversary I am co-organising a conference on the history of asylum in Germany, the current state of asylum in Europe and the situation of refugees. It will take place in Marienfelde, Berlin on the 28th of June 2013.
Please check out the homepage of the '20 Years after the German Asylum Law Reform: Demise or Transformation of Refugee Protection?' conference for the full program, more information and registration at www.fluechtlingsforschung.net.
This is an event by Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies (IMIS), University of Osnabrück and it is supported by Fritz-Thyssen Stiftung.
